NTB Project, named after Nusa Tenggara Barat, is located on the eastern side of Sumbawa, overlooking Mount Sangeang. The project draws from the natural and cultural landscape of the site, taking inspiration from its coral formations, topography, and the volcano, which has long been considered a sacred place by local communities and has held significance in the region's traditional belief systems.

The architecture translates these elements into a contemporary boutique hotel. Its forms follow and respond to the existing topography, while the geometry of the buildings takes reference from the organic formations of the surrounding coral reefs. The project seeks to recognize its specific location, creating an architecture that is shaped by its natural context.

The main entrance is defined by an elongated water mirror oriented toward Mount Sangeang. The surface reflects the volcano, creating a direct visual connection between the architecture and the landscape. This gesture is conceived as an immersion into the volcano, establishing the mountain as a constant presence in the arrival experience.

The project aims to reconnect the user with the primitive human need to be in and belong to the natural environment. The relationship between architecture, water, landscape, topography, and the volcano creates an experience that connects the user to its natural surroundings.
